Subject: torque converter maintenace?
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hi, our '89 weekender is sick with transmission blues. It will engage but it will not go without reving the engine very high . I need to drive it on to a trailer and im affraid that it will not have the power to get up the ramps. BUt lets say we get past that hurdle , When i drop the engine to do the head im going to drop the tranny and see if i can resurrect it . It looks to me that my tranny is contaminated with coolant fron the atf cooler. Im going to have to clean out my torque converter from what i hear , No mention in Bentley on how to do this any gurus out there with words for a guy at the end of his agonizing vanagonitis illness. im so out of nwe ideas that im begging for some direction !! HELP Raul
