I installed the radio shack motor to replace my dead fridge fan over the summer. It did produce a great amount of wind, however, I had a hard time getting any rest with the noise that it made. I finally took it out and replaced the whole thing with two DC brushless "muffin" fans that I bought from Jameco Electronics. Much quieter than the original set-up but I had to fabricate a new mounting bracket to attach the things. Roger |
