Hi Folks, bought another vanagon today! This one is a dead `88 westy weekender. Engine threw a rod it is junk. I have a couple I-4 VW engines in good condition here. Mainly a `83 rabbit engine. What is needed to transplant this engine into my new `88? I know it consisits primarily of diesel vanagon parts. Does anyone have a comprehensive list or web page showing the conversion. IS this a reliable conversion and is it fairly easily done. I am a ASE certified so ability is there ;) Thanks
