Hmm...well, maybe you're right. I haven't *tried* to lock up the tires on mine, but the brakes feel reasonably strong, so I assumed it was possible. Pedal effort is high, though, partly because my vacuum pump is leaky. The brakes seem better than the Ford van I used to have, but not as good as my Honda.
