had the same problem with a 91 and an 84 jetta. on the 84 jetta replacing both oil pressure senders corrected the problem. on the 91 it was a section of the computer system that was bad. i wired to individual oil pressure lights to the dash. a green one for the lower pump and a red one for the upper head located sender. a lot cheaper than trying to replaced the big chip behind the dash. jimt On Tuesday, Nov 5, 2002, at 06:17 America/Denver, Jay L Snyder wrote: > Put an oil pressure gauge on it.
