Subject: dropping engine and auto trans at the same time?
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hello faithful Vanagon owner. My question is as such: We are wondering if it is fesable to drop the enige and the transmission at the same time on an 89 vanagon. I have to do transmission work and engine work for convenience ive considered dropping them both at once . Anyone ever done this before . I suspect that it requires us to skip any of the separation crap and just unbolt them at the same time. Any heads up that some of you have encountered. As always respectfully Raul

PS: Thanks Hector for your responses(and all other responses )I really apreciate the input . Do you remeber what it cost you to have the torque converter rebuilt.
