I don't recall your locale, BUT if you are not used to camping in the Keys
or Florida, in general, make sure your bug netting is in good repair. You
may want to make a modification which I believe was suggested by Phaedra
(a CA redwood sprite who joined the List a few years ago, does winters in
Mexico in her van and hasn't posted  much lately) for a slider door net.  We
did so this summer and it works great. Short story is ... sewing a length of
netting to the bottom of the slider door curtain and folding it up in the
curtain when not in use.


Haven't camped down there in years, but I have used the private campgrounds
on Big Pine Key several times and was always pleased.  It's a bit of a trek
to Key West but that is a double-edged sword.
