Hi Ken,


Here are the results according to my handy-dandy Bus Depot catalog:


Shocks (front & rear)- will fit.


Front brake pads - won't fit (you need p/n D3029A)


Rear brake shoes - will fit


Not positive about swapping the springs, but Bus Depot does list a Boge
"High Performance Spring Kit" that indicates that it will fit all vans from
80-91, so my semi-educated guess would be that the springs didn't change
over the years and should fit fine.

Subject: Will these parts fit?


   A year ago I bought some parts for my 81' 2wd vanagon.
I never put them on but I did buy an 88' 2wd vanagon.
Can I put the still new parts on this van?
Parts for 81' that I want to put on the 88':
Front KYB shocks for struts
Rear Shocks
Front brake Disc pads
Rear Shoe pads


This van I bought is missing rear springs (your guess is as good as mine)
 Can I use the 81' springs on the 88' for the rear.
I have some 87' front springs (spare), will they fit the 88' ?
