numerous options
1 a selftapping next size up plug available from many flaps
2 pull pan and retap it to a larger diameter
3 pull pan braize thread area and retap to the original size
I have used all three techniques on various vehicles.  the choices are
actually in reverse order for my preferences.  choices  two  and three
give a longer better repair.
