Hi Roger,

Two thoughts:

1) The power steering has a 55 bar switch to increase RPM when the power steering exerts a high load on the engine at idle - is this switch sending a high load signal (shorted closed)at all times?

2) The idle stabilization control module controls the ISV with a mA current. I believe the nominal hot idle current is ~430 mA. What is your typical hot idle current throughthe ISV when the high idle occurs?

Regards, John
