Well, i have a manual tranny that broke the shift fork (couldn't go into 3rd or 4th) while i was in whitehorse, yukon, Canada... We ended up flying a transaxle from German Transaxle (in Bend, OR, i believe) up as a replacement. It's been fine ever since. They took excellent care packaging it all up... so i'll throw in one miniscule point of support for German transaxle (not like it really applies to your case, though... just a generally satisfied customer).

They say they will repair my auto trans for 950 dollars if the pinion gear is not fouled. My problen is my trans is slipping a great deal and ive possibly got contaminated ATF fron the ATF cooler(I think) German transaxle will returm my transmission with a 2 year warraty. Anyone out there done this before with them? respecfully Raul '89 wolfie
