Brake Mean Effective Pressure BMEP is a function of temperature of the gases in the cylinder and pressures exerted on the strokes. Four cycle:...equation

BMEP = ( HP * 13000 ) / ( L * RPM ) HP=horsepower L = Displacement in Liters i forget what the 13000 was. basically just an efficiency equation. how efficient is your engine at a certain horsepower and rpm. any change you make on an engine will change the numbers. changes to the engine will change the horsepower rating and/or the displacement. jimt On Thursday, Nov 7, 2002, at 15:57 America/Denver, Chris Mills wrote:
