Hi, For everyones interest in the high roof I say thanks. I think I need to clarify my email and say I plan on putting the roof back on. I meant to take it off temporarily to do an engine swap as there is a foot of snow outside and its still snowing. Good for ski season, bad for outdoor engine swaps. Just wanted to know if it was an easy removal or it is better to wait for better weather and swap engines outside. Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there has ever removed the fiberglass high top roof off an Adventurewagon? Is it a royal pain or is it fairly straight forward? I would like to put the van in the garage to swap out engines. Good idea since it is absolutely dumping snow here at the moment. Any imput is much appreciated. Also if anyone knows of a good source for used Subaru engines, it would also be much appreciated. I am located on the western slope of Colorado.
