Another anecdote: Summary: Positive experience I received a rebuilt manual Vanagon tranny from them, Jim DiGennaro of LiMBO fame put it in for me (with some help from Dale Ward: "Hey Jim, may you shoulda taken 'at snap ring off!"). Filled it with Redline MT-90 ( http://www.redlineoil.com ) and it's been humming along ever since. They claim to have used a redesigned 3/4 slider hub, but I have no practical way of verifying that. It was shipped in a sturdy cardboard box from OR to PA for $50 UPS Hundredweight (this is pre 9/11 and pre fuel surcharge). -Karl Karl & Kristina Bloss - Hurricane, WV '85 Westfalia Camper "Fred" '93 Eurovan MV "Amelie" WV VW Club: http://WVVW.ORG "Bound to cover just a little more ground..." |
