I have only started it a couple times during this time, and lately the throttle cable has been sticking open. This is a newly installed cable and after I did the installation this summer it made an amazing difference. The old one ha been doing the same thing before I changed it out. Now I am wondering if maybe the old one (I think it was probably the original) wasn't bad after all. Is there something that it might be getting hung-up on between the pedal and the throttle in the engine bay? > > Thanks, > > Scott K.

Hi, You didn't say if your trans is an automatic, but if so you may have the same problem that I have had. Twice when my throttle has started to stick open I have found that the linkage in the AT area has been binding due to corrosion. If I recall correctly, it was where the rod going back to the throttle attaches to the top of the lever on the AT. Good luck, Larry A.
