using mid to upper mid level equipment, that is a very hefty profit, or they are recommending equipment that you would never note the quality differences in in a vanagon. high end high quality speakers are a waste in the vanagon and most other vehicles. high end front ends that sing and dance and do thirty variations on everything are fancy trinkets that scream out "steal me". LCD in my opinion is way to expensive for camping. They also do not view to well from angles. just saw a 12v dvd and one of the better 12v tv at a target for under 400 dollars for both. for me my laptop runs with an external dvd and will play the sound direct or through an external speaker set, or the power amp on the road (for the back seat riders) jimt On Saturday, Nov 9, 2002, at 22:37 America/Denver, Kim Brennan wrote: > > That was more or less the idea presented to me by my Stereo shop.
