Just in passing, my '84 manual specifies #1034 for front turn/parking and rear stop/tail, #1816 for side markers, #1073 for rear turn and backup, #211 for interior. #1156 is a longer-life substitute for 1073 -- more current draw, more heat load, probably more vibration resistance, same light output. Likewise 1157 substitutes for 1034. It also specifies #89 for license plate -- but my license-plate lights take a 12v 4w T3-1/4 S.C. Bay lamp -- otherwise known as #1816, same as the side markers. And my camper cabin light takes a GE 790 25w halogen bulb with G4 bi-pin base -- available from Don's Rare Bulbs (no kidding) for $40 each (no kidding) -- or a 20w substitute from Radio Shack, 272-1177 for $1.99 david
