These pumps have no diaphragm, they are positive-displacement roller pumps. You can't get to the innards without destroying the aluminum can they're housed in. If the pump is buzzing against some part of the vehicle, that needs to be addressed, both for noise and because it will stress the rubber mounts and cause them to fail. david ps -- Pierburg makes pumps that work as replacements.
