See my Vanagon Items Forsale for my pricing. The STEBRO muffler being a flow thru design will give more power by relieving the back pressure on the exhaust gases. The sound is as original. It comes with integral mounting brackets, tail pipe, mounting hardware and lifetime warranty. This will give you the most bullet proof exhaust system you can have for your Vanagon and it will last practically forever. The only part needing attention now and then are the fibre doughnut gaskets I recommend using to reduce the transmission of vibration throughout the system thereby reducing the probability of flange cracking. Now if your motor has excessive vibration due to being out of tune or worn out then you may experience more flange cracking than others. You can always opt to use the all metal doughnut gaskets and take the chance of higher probability of flange cracking. When installing this or any system make sure all mating surfaces are clean and flat and that gaskets will seat properly. Use new gaskets coated with Permatex Ultra Copper High Temp silicone sealant. Make sure that all connections line up properly without any lateral stress on the connectors, tweaking of the pipes may be necessary in some instances. Use all new stainless steel bolts, studs, nuts and washers. Torque all connectors to proper torque specifications. Check all connections after driving the vehicle for a few hours, every week for at least one month and periodically thereafter. This is the system I currently have on my personal van with Boston Bob's Big Valve Motor. I have also installed this system on many of my customers vans and they are all satisfied and happy with their trouble free exhaust system. Hope this helps. If I can be of any further assistance please contact me.

Cheers
