Recently, i installed a pop-top canvas and seal kit from the bus depot and am generally impressed with everything... it was a worthwhile investment/use of time.

The only thing i'm not so sure about is the seal that goes along the top of the popper, sealing against the luggage rack. Which way is that installed? It is assymetric, the lip of the seal being flush with only one of the clippy sides (the other having a ridge where it transitions from the clip to the relatively thin seal). I installed it so the flush side is facing the outside, but there is a small gap all the way around between it and the luggage rack. Is it designed so that the flush side is supposed to be racing the inside/luggage rack?

I'm thinking i'm just going to re-use the stock one, which was in pretty OK shape...

Ron?

Otherwise, the seal kit is different than stock, but imo, cooler.

Thanks,

-Damon
