Subject: Late Brake Lights
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Folks,

So, i spent this past Sunday cleaning and reseating more electrical connectors. I also coated all the grounds i removed with dielectric grease so i hope that will keep corrosion under control.

It might just be my imagination, but the van seems to be running smoother with more low-end torque.

But, now that it's getting dark so early here in The Northland, i noticed my brake lights are coming on a bit later than i'd like when i press the pedal. Keep in mind it's largely flat as a pool table here and i'm pretty easy on the brakes to begin with (my father always warned me "never bet your life on your brakes").

Should i start shopping for a new brake light switch? Is swapping the switch a messy job?

Thanks,

-jspeer '89 Westy GL, "Mystery Machine"
