Subject: VW Option Codes
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Having found my Option Code sticker under the steering wheel, it lists VIN, Sales Type code, Eng. Trans (though not specifically Front axle code) and colour code, and of course Options.

Which are: EAQ GF5 018 025 425 571 990 992

My question having identified most of the 'M' number options is - what does EAQ and GF5 refer to?

Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me.

Clive '88 Syncro Transporter 2.1 DJ, AAN/ADH code twin locker

PS. Apparently I have a 'Padded Steering Wheel' - Option M18
