Karl,
I had some work done to the seat in my Porsche and i asked the upholstry shop
to install some lumbar foam.  Instead, the guy suggested an inflatable bladder
that is made for this.  I had them do it and i like it.  There is a little bulb
on a tube that i can pump up or release.  Ask around the upholstry shops in
your town.
