was working in the yard this morning and noted a dreaded new puddle of oil under my 82 westy. thanks to the subject coming up so often on these lists i just opened up my oil check door and "look ma, no oil fill tube".. it had fallen off but was still down in there. couldnt figure out how to get my hands down in there to get at that bolt to put it back on and then suddenly realized that one of my long 1/4" extensions would slip in from behind the alternator and went straight to the bolt. didnt need any swivel sockets or universals to get at it from that angle.

wonder if that "hole" was intentional? jimt
