OK, I know it sounds dumb but here's one of the few things about our 84 Westy that bugs me: I can't see the speedometer and the temp gauge. I'm 6'4" and the uper half of the streering wheel is right in the way! Slumping hurts and surgery is not an option...

Has anyone found a way to raise their streering wheel by a couple of inches? The steering wheel column on my 2000 Passat telescopes a couple of inches, as did my (long gone now) 56 MGA. I'm even thinking maybe a mirror might help. Tom Scott

PS: The Side Door Series, some photos from our 84 Westy are at http://www.kadikiiss.com/wvw/
