I also filter out certain words. Send me a message with certain key words - four letter, or certain services type keywords and it gets filtered out to a different "mailbox" and then gets deleted when I get a chance to take a look (usually once a week). Takes about 3.5 seconds to scan about 50 messages and dump them.

Never reply to spam, just verifies your address for the spammer.
