Jeff, my suggestion to you is to stay with the stock system to avoid problems down the road. Say for instance your on a trip and something breaks, you cannot easily replace a part as you will need to get the part from S&S but if you have the stock system you can get the parts from most auto parts suppliers. I believe your in Winnipeg and I have the pipes in stock here in Almonte, Ontario that you need at a good price, see my <A HREF="http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/sales.htm">Vanagon Items Forsale</A> webpage. I also have the <A HREF="http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/stebro.htm">STEBRO/Vanagon 1.9 Stainless Steel Muffler</A> which is warranted for life and reduces back pressure and increases performance. I can also supply all the support rods in stainless steel if you need any of them, info & prices on the STEBRO/Vanagon webpage. The main muffler support rod comes with the STEBRO muffler.
