hey collective wisdom Finally getting around to pulling the heads and fixing everything else under the sun that I can think of while I'm at it (rear heater and several other hoses--etc) anyway--got what I consider to be the worst part of the job almost completed. Thats right--loosening and removing the exhaust. I cant stand touching exhaust--never know what will break (studs etc). anyway--everything is loose--except that damn oxygen sensor. I've soaked it in penetraing oil for over a week now--heated it--used the 100 taps method--you name it. damn thing wont budge. My question is--why not leave it there and unhook it from the wireing harness? seems like its just a plug in and another plug in for a ground or something. definately looks like to hookups. Any other ideas are welcome as well. figured that way i could take it to my friends shop and have him remove it with air tools or something. if i do get it out--i'll probably replace it--but it seems to be working fine oh yeah--2.1 wasserleaker by the way thanks |
