Correct definition in my opinion. It's been around since Stan was a kid. That was way before Nissans were Datsuns. For that matter, VW's were probabaly a teutonic socialist democrat's dream propaganda toy Stan started driving. BenT ---------------------------- Clip -------------------------- OK guys I think I can figure it out now. #1) Beater doen't to have to be a VW. #2) Could apply to anything BenT is selling. #3) Could apply to Mike Millers Van. #4) A Beater was my first car $65.00, a 39 plymouth and every car I ever bought for a few hundred bucks. #5) Can be called a beater as long as it runs, after it quits its moves to the beaten class. #6) I see the term used more on vintage bus than on vanagon sites.
