 Scott Flying Squirrel - my dad had one, watercooled 2-stroke twin - famous
bike. That was the one to keep!

...but I can't agree with your memory of the Monte Carlo minis, they were
all red with white roofs!

.. maybe blocking the front with spotlights did have some effect on cooling,
as the draught came in the front and with a reversed fan blade (more blades
on the 'S'  of course, denser rad matrix too, almost every part was
different) went out through the rad into the partial vacuum under the wheel
arch - very neat Mr. Issigonis. Fortunately, the A series didn't suffer too
much from overheating when everything was right.
