put a new throttle switch in yesterday, van runs much
better, but still dies after about a minute or so when
cold. so i did a compression test this afternoon,
numbers in firing order
(1,4,3,2)130,150,140,140...bently is saying 145 min.,
which is making me think that the low compression
could be the problem. so a few questions as this is
the first vehicle i have ever paid attention to, and
paid i have, although i find the edumacation worth the
cost...
could the valves need adjusting, or cause this low
compression? i guess that is the question right now,
is there a way i can fix this without a rebuild? i
think not, but would like to hear the opinion of the
list members who might have gone through this before.
