Well did you take the compression readings when the engine was hot or cold? Maybe you should check the compression readings again after flogging the engine and getting it hot again. That said I dont think that you will be having this problem due to compression. Sound more fuel related. Have you checked the resistance of the coolant temp sensor? Is the air flow meter good? How about your ignition timing settings after you replaced the idle switch?
