Bill sez:

Bill, from my experience with alignment shops they need constant babysitting and double-checking. Case and point: My '85 needed alignment and the shop manager argued that the rear end on my Vanagon is not adjustable. Fix: I hit him over the head with the Bentley manual. My '88 Audi needed an alignment. The shop manager tells me the camber is not adjustable. Fix: I hit him over the head with the Bentley manual.

I don't drive a Chevy truck so finding competent mechanics can be a challenge in Montgomery, Alabama. Fix? Nope. I'm not about to buy a Chevy truck.

In your case you may have to use my Bentley technique as well.

Chris,

'85 Westy.
