Jay, the truck i drive at work has 6 tires that must be inflated to 110 PSI cold in order for it to be able to carry heavy loads up to 65,000 pounds GVW. When the truck's tires are under inflated the truck wobbles dangerously especially when loaded down, also blowouts can occur. This is the reason I am using 65PSI truck tires on my van becouse the westy weighs around 4500Lbs and i think thats too heavy to run passenger tires which usually have max rating of 35-40PSI. Also, the Yokohamas when inflated to 65psi reduce sway and they also have thick sidewalls. Again, the ride is very harsh when inflated to the max, so i deflate the tires to around 45 PSI for city driving.

THe tires that I am using are:Yokohama "Super Van 356" 185R14 8PR LT Steel belted radials, load range-D
