This thread is absolutely intriguing!
It has me thinking about how,
on the farm,
we would extend the growing season,
out in the garden.
We would build what is called a hot frame.
Basically, a wooden frame filled with
fresh manure.
And as it composted,
it would put off a fair amount of heat!
Keeping the vegetables from getting to cold!
Could we perhaps integrate this idea
into our Vans
to extend the camping season?
I think, perhaps about four inches
of fresh manure on the floor would be about optimal.
Has anyone else considered this
innovative concept?
