Spoken like a true Northerner. We can camp your way about three months out of the year (Nov, Dec and Jan), the same time you guys are looking for heating equipment. The rest of the year, A/C is a requirement, or you end up in a hotel (or divorced).

This is probably why "back country" camping and VW campers aren't as popular in the southern states, the camping season is too short.

Also, the generator is a lot less annoying than your spouse and kids after a sleepless night.
