Tim said "Spoken like a true Northerner. We can camp your way about three months out of the year...... The rest of the year, A/C is a requirement, or you end up in a hotel (or divorced)."

Well said, Tim, I have been looking for a Florida State Park to camp in with my wife, as our anniversary is on the 22nd. We spent our honeymoon in the van, so it seems right to take a little camping trip. I have found that all the Florida State parks always advertise all the electric and water hookups available to RVer's. In most other states, the campsites are just relatively flat areas with a wooden post with the site # on it. Oh well, gotta go with the flow. Heading over to Oscar Scherer State Park in Osprey tomorrow, for a couple days of camping, hiking, and vegging out with the old lady and the hounds. Just like the good old days.

Heating requirements: one wife and 135 lbs of greyhounds Cooling requirements: ventilated tent Generating requirements: if the dogs see a squirrel, that will generate some excitement... ....or we may see an endangered Florida Scrub Jay (check off the life list -- big excitement)
