Thanks to all who helped me troubleshoot a four day long stumbling /bucking/stalling problem that has kept me working for three days looking for the source of trouble. it was the ECU ! Now my engine (1995 Golf /Digifant ll) even has more power.  
The book says that everyone thinks the computer is bad when it's usually not the case. Isn't it great being the exception?
Now I can remove the saddle and replace the seat since the bucking is finally over.
