By the time you will do all the engineering to accomodate another core $200 will be a bargain indeed. Not that i wasn't outraged at some vanagon parts prices myself. I did the front core this year myself and core is just one part of poorly designed monstrocity called Vanagon heater system. There are also many control flaps with disintegrated foam, cables needing adjustment, crumbling housing plastic etc. let the flames begin... Leon 85 Subwagen Cruiseship
