I just did a front blower motor replacement/airbox
reseal for a friend the day after his wedding. I don't
think that his new wife appreciated him spending 7
hours with me that day instead of with her.

Part of their honeymoon was going to be spent near
Asheville, NC., so he needed to have a working heater
for that road trip. The repair was his wedding gift.

I will be around Asheville the weekend after Xmas
trying to stay warm while the rest of the family plays
in the snow. Anyone in the area want to swap Vanagon
war stories? Please tell me that they don't use salt
on the roads there or I will have to rent a car. I
don't think Goldibox has ever seen snow, let alone
salt covered roads.
