I use a Coleman Platinum Catalytic heater, that kind with a built in fan. I have a CO detector in the van as well, and I leave the windows slightly open for ventilation. Oh, I have two matching sleeping bags and I join them together to make one big bag. Then my significant other and I can make some more heat. Leave the top down since nearby campers can complain about the noise.

Minnesota tested and approved!
