Doug, I am just guessing but I bet they put the o2 light in the same year they put the o2 sensor which is the same year they put the cat contverter, as long as there has been a vanagon with fuel injection. If you live in a state that does not require a smog test and you are not concerned about hydrocarbon emissions you do not need the o2 light, sensor or cat converter. gary Date: Fri, 22 Nov 2002 12:05:44 -0500 From: "Fitz-Randolph, Douglas" <Doug@BEACONTEL.TV> Subject: OXS Light... what model years was it used? Does anyone know what model years the OXS light appeared on the instrument panel? I know I don't have one on my '86 or my '90, but I've seen it on an '87... so is it like '87 - '89 only? Or did perhaps some models (GL's?) have them and others not. TIA, Doug Fitz-Randolph Freeport, ME
