Thanks to all of you who emailed me with suggestions on my question about the emergency brake parking light that stayed lit. I found the switch under the rubber boot; it looked fine, so before I messed around with testing it I checked the brake fluid reservoir. Before the responses from this list, I didn't know that could cause a warning light. It took nearly 8 oz.! Thanks to all of you. The brakes feel better, and the light is out. Now I need to find out why it was low. I last had the brakes worked on 3 years ago. Dan '85 Westy |
