I'm looking forward (sort of) to a fair list of winter projects, as soon as my parents leave for the winter and I can park the Westy in their garage. One thing I want to sort out is some wiring, including the headlight/relay upgrade and maybe some aftermarket interior lighting. First, the dual battery set-up. It looks largely complete, but there's definitely no voltage at the cables, engine running or not. Also, the Bosch relay in there looks to have a loose terminal connection and portions that look a little like they were burned out. Can anyone guide me to an explanation of testing that relay? I have looked, but short of buying a complete aux battery set-up, have not found just the relay for sale. Any help appreciated. Ed Carroll 87 Weekender |
