The filler hose (1 5/8" ID) hose in my syncro has worn through (where the gas-station fuel filler nozzle hits the back of the hose. Dumb design!). right now i happen to have the fuel tank out (and engine and tranny...) to fix another fuel leak (roll over valve was busted) and i need to fix this problem at the same time. I can't find the hose. Anybody know where to get it? 178.29$ at the dealer, if they have it in *THE* warehouse in LA. Standard size that auto places stock is 1.5 and 1.75. one and three-quarters is too big and one and a half is way to small. Ideas? (hydraulic shops don't have it. House of Hose doesn't have it...) BTW, all syncro owners will have this hose fail one of these days based on the design of the filler system. dumb dumb dumb. ask me how to remove the gas tank :-) thanks matthew 86 syncro westy i4
