Such things are a real PITA!!

When I was in the Navy, I worked on Sonar equipment. Later I worked on airplanes. There were times when malfunctions would occur in the electrics and electronics. Weird stuff. When all else failed, we would pull the malfunctioning unit out of the cabinet and ship it back to the manufacturer for repair/replacement. The malfunction report always laid the blame to "an intermittant short to ground!", one of the most onerous malfunctions that can exist. It's really difficult to make a repair if you cannot readily reproduce the fault.

Yep, you may have to send it to a tech.

Everything in the system that I have tested has passed. I remember reading other postings of listees who have put all new parts and still the problem existed.
