Thanks Jere.  I do this too, but I'm the sort of person that almost has to
read every email because I don't want to miss anything!  On the Vanagon
list, the threads don't usually last too long so it's not saving too much
to just block out and delete a thread that doesn't interest me.

Another person pointed out that it's all in the archives so I could always
find something that interests me later.  While true, a lot of the problems
which I've seen solved on this list have been problems my own van has but
which I hadn't really considered to be problems until somebody else
brought them up.  This includes things like unsteady/high/low idling, old
hoses being a potential fire hazard, the temperature indicator supposing
to be over the LED, things like that.  Searching the archives wouldn't
help with that, but reading all the emails sure did!

The ultimate solution is, I suppose, to learn to read faster!  :^)
