I know everyone is thinking of the holidaze and probably little about camping, but once again I shall make an attempt to bring your mind back to what we should be thinking about: Camping in our vans! The thing is, somewhere out there, one or more of you is in need of a new camper, and I have the perfect one for you to use this winter: A 1986 Vanagon Adventurewagen! It has a great furnace for those cold days (and nights), an indoor shower, lots of light (huge skylight and seven, yes seven!, interior lights), nice comfy bed and tons of storage. Oh, and not to forget the 6' 2" of headroom (no top to pop up, this is a real high-top van), 'porch' light, and a REAL fridge that runs on it's own battery for days. A truly comfy little home away from home. Or away from your significant other should you need some 'space'. Driving accoutrements include four-speed manual trans, power steering, velour seating with folding armrests, cruise control, and a great Blaupunkt stereo system (with a bedside remote switch!). This little home runs and drives flawlessly, why not make both of us happy and make it yours? $6500?

Then, for those who are lacking in things to do: How about a nice Westy diesel project? It runs and drives OK, but needs some attention to be the beautiful camper it once was. Only 90K miles, spare engine included. Drive it home, putter with it this winter, and next spring you'll be ready to go camping, instead of once again wishing you had bought a Westy cheap when you had the chance. $1900, how can you go wrong?

Both of these beauties are located in scenic western Maryland, in the shadow of South Mountain, smack in the midst of the area where the bloodiest battles of the civil war were fought. Make it a weekend and explore our history!

Both of these vans positively need to leave my ownership by the middle of December, so don't be shy about asking questions and / or making an offer! Thanks for reading!
