Yes Chris is whining about a situation of his own making. The inner lights are only supposed to come on when you turn on the high beams. Anything else you want them to do (strobe to pretend you are a cop car in hot pursuit, etc.) you do at your own risk. It would be like a sky diver that whines because all the air blowing around his head when he is falling is messing up his hair :)

PS Chris you know this is not a flame. Wire these lights up the way that are supposed to and you will have no more problems.

Chris,

My advice: Wire the inner 'driving lights' (i.e. auxiliary high beams) to come on only with the outer high beams. They are spot beams and are not intended for low beam use. If you have H4 outer lights, then you should already have excellent low beams. I run 130/90 bulbs in my outers, 100 in the driving lamps (both properly aimed) and have yet to ever get flashed, threatened, or scolded. The outers with their flat low beam pattern do not blind or bother anyone. BTW, the auxiliary lights you see in most factory setups are not driving lights, but FOG lights. Always makes me wonder why so many folks think it's foggy out, when they run the lights constantly.
