Subject: tank 403b or 403A
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I bought a tank that I expected to be 025 121 407 B. My very old tank was clearly marked 025 121 407 B. The new tank is 025 121 407 A in all ways it appers to be the correct fit. So why is there this change in markings and part number. In All fairness to JoAnn her part was a better match than the one I returned to VW. Is it possible that this part is slated to be discontinued? Is the new tank with the 403 A nos that is very old since I have a 403b in my 87 vanagon? gary Is JoAnn correct about part number 025 121 407A?

JoAnn, What is confusing me is that my very old tank is stamped with the 025 121 407 B. The new tank looks to be a good match but has the 403 A? I think that if you sell any more of these tanks you need to acknowledge that they are stamped 403A but fit 403B applications. Make this change and I will be more than happy to leave positive feedback. thanks gary If this is the only tank --- LAZY8 8 <lazy82002@hotmail.com> wrote: > Gary, > > The Part# (025 121 407 A) stamped in the tank is an > old number and was > superceded to Part# (025 121 403 B)which should be > the number on the sticker > on the tank.
